MEGTEC Systems has acquired the solvent recovery business of Calgon Carbon Corporation, adding solvent recovery competencies to its technology portfolio. This includes the solvent recovery and distillation operations of:
- Vara Technologies (Vero Beach, Florida)
- Barnebey Sutcliffe (Columbus, Ohio)
- Sutcliffe Speakman (UK)
Additional technology acquired includes bio-reactor, bioscrubber and biofilter systems.
The technologies of the acquired operations add an important new facet to MEGTEC Systems’ capabilities in pollution control, complementing their emission abatement technology. MEGTEC Systems is pleased to add these world-leading technologies in printing and other processing industries to their portfolio.
